TWOPOINTFIVE by Aminé was released in 2021 but it has left an impact on me and many

other Aminé fans due to the sheer genius that is the production of this album. From hard hitting 808's to the soft tinkle of pianos this album has it all. Although, that isn't to say its for everyone. This album in my opinion mixes the sounds of modern trap music on songs such as mad funny freestyle to sounds of hyper pop on songs like colours with sounds that you would expect to hear from artists such as 100gecs. This album truly has an emotional connection with me because it was the first rap album I listened to that made me go out and buy a concert ticket. That isn't me saying its the greatest album I've ever listened to from the rap genre but it was hyper and somber at the same time creating possibly the perfect listening experience that could quite easily (and judging by the concert) and almost perfectly be transferred into a live performance. listening to other project by Aminé you realise that he is so much more than just a rapper he is truly an artist. Witty lyrics and thumbing 808's, what more could you ask for from a rap album?

Ive listened to this mixtape countless times and honestly I think my rating of a 9.3 would be the most accurate rating for a music fan of my standpoint because it leaves you seeking more and makes you want to listen over and over again.

I would highly recommend you give this album a listen if you get an opportunity as this could possibly expand your taste in music outside of the general rap surface level. However I must warn that it is NOT an album for everyone and as you know everyone has different tastes.
